Central Connecticut sophomore Betsy Vendel was named All-Northeast Conference Second Team on Thursday night. The Blue Devil attacker finished her second season in New Britain with an impressive 60 points. Her 60 points led the NEC this season and was the second highest single-season total in CCSU history.

Sophomore Meaghan McCurry led the way for the Blue Devils with 4 goals and three assists, including the game tying score.

Central Connecticut lacrosse sophomore Meaghan McCurry has been named Northeast Conference Player of the Week for her performance in the Blue Devils last two games. McCurry has been a scoring machine this season, and was especially clutch against Manhattan College when she netted three goals in the Blue Devils late second half comeback.
