The Central Connecticut women's cross country team is set to compete in the 2011 Northeast Conference Championships on Saturday.  The Blue Devils finished fifth at the 2010 NEC meet.  Leading the team this season will be 2010 All-NEC selection Elizabeth Eberhardt and senior Alsasia Griebel.

Eberhardt, a sophomore, finished 14th at the 2010 meet to earn and All-NEC selection.  She has continued that success into the 2011 season.  Griebel, who transfered to Central for her fifth year, has been a leader on the Blue Devil squad all season.  Eberhardt and Griebel have traded off as the Blue Devils top finisher throughout the year.

Sophomore Krisztina Dearborn will also push the Blue Devils on Saturday, she was the fastest Blue Devil at the New England Championships three weeks ago.
