Cancellieri Named NEC Athlete Of The Week

Joined on Prime Performer list by Desmarias

For the second time this season, Central Connecticut States' Juliana Cancellieri has been named the NEC Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week. She earned NEC Prime Performer as well, for the fourth time, and was joined on that list by Maegan Desmarais.

Cancellieri earned All-New England honors for her showing at the New England Championships on Friday. She finished in sixth place overall at the race, running the course in 17:43.87

Desmarias was the second finisher for CCSU, running to a 21^st place finish, in a time of 18:19.88.

The Blue Devils are back in action on Friday, October 24^th when they host the CCSU Mini Meet. Those races are held at Stanley Quarter Park in New Britian, CT.
