Sarochova Named NEC Golfer of the Week
Central Connecticut junior Lucie Sarochova earned her fifth career Northeast Conference Golfer of the Week honor after posting a pair of 77s to lead the Blue Devils at the Dartmouth Women's Invitational over the weekend. Sarochova, the 2007-08 NEC individual champion, finished tied for sixth at Dartmouth. She was the top Northeast Conference finisher at the event.

Sarochova shot 77-77 at the par 72 Hanover Country Club. The Prague, Czech Republic native finished just six strokes off the pace.
The Blue Devils will be back in action next weekend. They will tee it up at The Orchards Golf Club in Hadley, MA for the Mount Holyoke Invitational beginning on Saturday, Sept. 20.
