KEY MOMENTS
- Saint Francis opened the scoring in the ninth minute after collecting the ball in the defensive end. The attack would come up the left wing and Joschi Schelb got the ball in front of the net and played a one-touch pass to Fabian Wagner who tapped it into an open goal to make it 1-0.
- CCSU would press for an equalizer in the second half, forcing SFU to defend more than it had in the opening period. Central would get a pair of opportunities late, when in the 68th minute Arnau Rabassa Guillamon drove to the middle just outside the area, but his left-footed shot was saved. Just over two minutes later, the Blue Devils got the ball along the endline and put a cross into the middle where Justin Rivas took a right-footed one-timer that got cleared away.
- The Red Flash added a goal just before the final whistle when they regained possession in their attacking third and Schelb got it onto his left foot and sent a shot to the left side for the final margin.
