The Central Connecticut swimming and diving team completed the second day of competition at the BU Invitational in sixth place with 227 total points. Senior captain Erin Crowley had the best individual finish of the day, placing fourth in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:53.83. The host Terriers continue to lead the meet with 575 points. CCSU will be competing in the final day of the meet tomorrow at Boston University.
Crowley was also a member of the Blue Devil 800 free relay team that placed fourth, touching in at 7:41.77. Sophomore Megan McGorry, junior Kandra Kane and freshman Alex Czaplicki were also members of the squad. McGorry also placed seventh in the 400 IM in a time of 4:35.45. Czaplicki took ninth and 12th in the 100 backstroke (59.14) and 100 butterfly (59.04), respectively.
