Women's Cross Country Finishes 27th at New England Championships on Saturday
The Central Connecticut women's cross country team finishes in
27th place at the New England Championships, held at Franklin Park
in Boston, MA. The Blue Devils placed 27th out of 47 total
entries. Katherine
Bossardet finished 77th and was the top finisher for the Blue
Devils over the 5k course.
Senior Katherine
Bossardet continued her strong season with a 19:03performance
which earned her 77th place. Right behind Bossardet for the Blue
Devils was Freshman Elizabeth Eberhardt who finished 85th in a time
of 19:07. Senior Nicole
Coiteux recorded a time of 19:57 and Junior Amanda
Asaro ran a 20:00 to round out the top-four for the Blue
Devils.
Chelsea Crooke, Krisztina Dearborn Megan MacBryde were the final three for the Blue Devils finishing in 20:49, 20:58 and 21:00, respectively.
The Blue Devils return to action in two weeks at the CCSU Mini Meet, and then host the NEC Championships on October 30th.
