Women's Track & Field Wraps Up At ECAC/IC4A

Marin finishes fifth in the discus

The Central Connecticut State women's track and field team completed its showing at the ECAC/IC4A Championship at George Mason on Sunday, with two student-athletes in the discus.

Maya Marin finished in fifth place, her second scoring event of the weekend. She threw 43.22m, the second-best effort from a rookie at the meet.

Payton Lowe finished 17th with a top throw of 37.23m.

The women finished in 17th place as a team at the event, with the small roster of attendees.
