Ausanio Leads Central in C&F Opener

The Central Connecticut women's golf team wrapped up day one of the C&F Bank Invitational in 16th on the leaderboard. The team shot a 338 and stand +54 over par.  

Junior Anna Ausanio led the Blue Devils in the tournament's opening round posting a score of 79.  Ausanio penciled in two birdies on the day and is tied for 28th in the individual standings.

Freshman Albrianna Farnum is tied for 57th place and stamped a day one 83.  Junior Stephanie Bednar shot an 85 and stands in a tied for 68th, junior Katie Reid shot a 91 and is tied for 90th place. Sophomore Gina Grant recorded a 94.

Tournament play will resume tomorrow, Monday, March 19th.
