Former Blue Devil, Brown, Signs to Play in Slovakia
Former Central Connecticut men's basketball standout Jayden Brown has signed a professional contract to play with Lucenec in the Slovakian Tipos SBL. The SBL was founded in 1993 and is the highest level tier league of men's professional basketball in Slovakia. Brown joins former teammate Jordan Jones who signed with the Nitra Blue Wings of the league last week.
Brown finished his career with 114 blocked shots, which ranks eighth all-time. He played in 120 career games, starting 85, and averaged 7.3 points and 4.1 rebounds per game. He shot 46.8 percent from the field and shot a career-best 32.6 percent on three-pointers as a senior. He scored a career-best 10.3 points and 4.8 rebounds per game in 2024-25, helping CCSU advance to the NEC Tournament championship game. Brown scored double-figures in 19 games and had a season-high 17 points against Binghamton. In a win at Fairfield he grabbed 12 rebounds to go with three blocked shots.
