Blue Devils Sweep NEC Indoor Track & Field Coaching Staff Of The Year Honors
Blake led coaches have now won 29 coach of the year honors.
The NEC coaches selected Eric Blake and the Central Connecticut State indoor track and field coaches as the NEC Coaching Staff of the Year for both men's and women's indoor this season.
The Blue Devils captured both the NEC men's and women's indoor track and field championship. The men captured the title for the second consecutive season, while the women won for the fourth time in five years.
Blake is joined in the honor by his assistant coaches: Nicole Dumpson-Jackson, Amanda Powlen, Emily Fedor, Alex Norstrom, Brooke Morabito, Ed Williams, Logan Moore and Bryan Powlen.
The sweep of the indoor staff honor brings Blake's Coach or Coaching Staff of the Year count to 29. The Blue Devil coaches are 4-4 this season, also sweeping the NEC Cross Country Coach of the Year Award.
The league office also reaffirmed the NEC All-Conference and All-Rookie honorees that earned the honor by their finishes at the indoor championship in February.
