Women's Basketball Heads To Wagner, LIU For NEC Contests
Thursday game on Staten Island is a double header with the Blue Devil men.
The Central Connecticut State women's basketball team plays a pair of road games in NEC action this week. The Blue Devils start the weekend at Wagner with a 5:00 pm game on Thursday as part of a league double-header with the Blue Devils men's squad. CCSU then heads to Brooklyn for a Saturday matchup with LIU. That game is set for 2:00 pm.

• Mathilda Toure had six points, all at the free throw line (6-6) at FDU. That is her second six point game against NEC foes, first doing it on 3-6 from the field vs. Le Moyne
• Kiyah Lewis is shooting 93.1 percent from the free throw line in her eight NEC games, hitting 27-29, to lead the league. She was 8-8 from the line versus Stonehill on 1/24. That has helped her score 12.6 a game against the NEC, which ranks 10th.
• Over the past three games, Nicora Patrick has shot 46.7 percent from the floor, and averaged 7.3 points per game. She has scored eight, a career-high, in back-to-back outings and raised her scoring average nearly a full point in the stretch.
• Kayla Henry netted 10 points versus Stonehill Saturday, her third double-digit game in the last four outings. Versus Saint Francis on 1/17, she scored 12, with six boards and a career-high five assists. Henry is shooting 41.1 percent from the floor this season, after shooting 56 percent on Saturday. She had a career-high seven FGM versus Vermont, going 7-9.
• Jessica Farrell is averaging 10.6 ppg in league play, with five double-digit efforts.
