Desmarais Runs 3,000m Steeplechase at Penn Relays

Maegan Desmarais ran a new collegiate-best on Thursday in the 3,000m steeple

Maegan Desmarais ran in the 3,000m steeplechase for the Central Connecticut track and field team at the Penn Relays in Philadelphia, PA, on Thursday night. Desmarais placed 14^th overall in the field of 35 runners.

HIGHLIGHTS

Desmarais set a new personal-best time completing the race in 10:18.94. She ran in the first section of runners, placing 11^th. The winner of the event, Angelina Napoleon (9:37.72) also ran in the first heat.
