Fox Earns Weekly NEC Baseball Rookie Honor
Central Connecticut infielder Nick Fox was named NEC Baseball Rookie of the Week it was announced Tuesday. It is Fox's first weekly honor this season.
Fox extended his hitting streak to 10 games last week and had multiple hits in each game of the three-game NEC series at Coppin State. In Friday's win he had two hits, including a double, and drove in a run while scoring another. In the series-finale, he had a pair of extra-base hits, including a homerun in the first inning as CCSU hit back-to-back homeruns for the first time since 2024. On the season, he is hitting .395 and has nine RBIs in 13 games.
