Men's Soccer Held Off by Binghamton, 2-1
The Central Connecticut men's soccer team fell to Binghamton, 2-1, on Saturday in New Britain. The Blue Devils tied the game just over an hour into the game, but the Bearcats scored the eventual game-winner almost 10 minutes later.f

KEY MOMENTS
- Binghamton opened the game looking to control possession and would open the scoring in the 17th minute when Ryan Gillon took a free kick from 25 yards out. His driving shot found its way into the back of the net to make it 1-0.
- Central pressed in search of a tying goal to open the second half. In the 64th minute Alvaro Moros slipped a pass to Anthony Catanzaro on the right wing, who drove towards the goal and snapped off a shot near the endline that made it 1-1.
- Binghamton would get the go-ahead goal in the 73rd minute when D.T. Megliola sent a cross into the area that found Anthony Randazzo who settled it from close range and picked out the left-side of the goal to make it 2-1.
- The Blue Devils' attach would force a pair of Binghamton stops in the closing minutes, including a Catanzaro shot with just under three minutes left that was deflected wide for a corner kick.
