Masciarelli Posts Career-Best At UMass
The Blue Devils had three runners in action on Thursday
Three members of the men's track and field team competed Thursday afternoon at the UMass Last Chance Meet.
The Blue Devils effort was highlighted by a collegiate-best run from Salvatore Masciarelli in the 1500m, crossing the line at 3:54.13. Yankarlos Diaz took second in the steeplechase, with a run of 9:09.69. Ryan McCauley rounded out the days competition in fifth place in the 800m, running 1:54.03.
CCSU will have student-athletes in action at the IC4A/ECAC Championship Friday-Sunday, as well as the Princeton Last Chance meet on Saturday.
