Volleyball Falters at Le Moyne in Three Sets
The Central Connecticut volleyball team fell to Le Moyne, 3-0, on Saturday in NEC action in Syracuse, NY. The Blue Devils were led by Olivia Keckler with eight kills in the match.

KEY MOMENTS
- The opening set was tied 4-4 before Le Moyne rattled off four straight points to force a CCSU timeout. The Blue Devils would use a five-point run served by Anja Milosevic to go ahead 12-11. After a block by Amanda Tokam and Victoria Sanabria pulled Central back within, 16-15, the Dolphins scored three in a row to force a CCSU timeout. An ace by Breanna Ginley pulled CCSU within, 23-21, but Le Moyne would close the set out three rallies later.
- CCSU took a 2-0 lead after two Dolphins errors, but Le Moyne scored four points in a row. After a kill by Keckler broke the run, Le Moyne scored four more and forced a Central timeout. A kill by Weronika Poczynek would make it 18-16 but Le Moyne would rattle off five straight points and won the set following a CCSU error.
- Central led early in the third set and back-to-back kills by Milosevic and Keckler would make it 10-7. Le Moyne ran off four straight points to go ahead, but the teams would go back-and-forth until a three-point run put the Dolphins ahead 18-16. Following a Le Moyne error, Aubrey Stitcher served an ace to tie it at 18-all, but the Dolphins would take control with a five-point run enroute to winning the match.

- Keckler added four digs and a block.
- Milosevic had 25 assists, six digs and three kills.
- Annabelle Denommé led the team with nine digs to go with two aces.
- Breanna Ginley had seven kills, hit .462, and had three blocks.
- The all-time series is tied, 3-3.
